All designs are created without AI, using Adobe Illustrator to translate  hand-drawn motifs into repeating patterns and stand-alone placement prints.

Flower Vine

Flower Vine is a trailing repeat pattern that is cheerful and invites us to imagine that all branches lead to beautiful flowers, buds and, eventually, berries. It is a pictorial invitation to contemplate growth, development and sweet rewards!

Recent Patterns

Available patterns include repeating patterns, used for applications such as fabric, wallpaper and gift wrap, and non-repeating patterns or placement prints, that can be used alone  or with repeating patterns in a collections, or for art prints, gift cards and many other uses.

Silver Cedar

This design can be used for wallpaper, fabric or gift wrap, and features the cedar sprigs and other leaves found in the Pacific Northwest.

I am a surface pattern designer!

Surface pattern design allows me to combine my love of nature, which surrounds me here on a tiny rural peninsula in the Pacific Northwest, with my artistic skills and creative efforts, to share this beauty with others.

Even during the winter, I can look out my windows and see a bear wandering through our woods, or wild bunnies nibbling beneath the ferns, which inspires me to bring whimsy, joy and spirit into my work.

Patterns, and art in general, help to shape our lives, our loves, and our moods!

Because I garden, I own overalls, covered in cute patterns of course. One, with gnomes, is so fun,  my daughter bought the same one, and then her gardening friend did as well. So, we became the Garden Gnome Patrol, and we wear our overalls with glee! This is just one tiny story that opened my eyes to how something as simple as patterns can impact our lives, and I hope to do the same for others!
